Nova is a conceptual Visual identity proposal for a Solana-native DeFi protocol focused on driving the adoption and liquidity of USDS, one of the world’s leading stablecoins. As part of the Sky.money ecosystem (formerly MakerDAO), Nova was envisioned as a rising “Star” within Solana DeFi — a symbol of innovation, energy, and collaboration. The design explores the idea of a Nova, a sudden stellar burst, capturing the brilliance and momentum of a fast-evolving decentralised ecosystem.

The goal was to design a bold and versatile identity that reflects growth, energy, and innovation in the Web3 space. I wanted the brand to feel alive, something that could scale from a DeFi interface to a token icon or event merch, while still carrying a strong sense of purpose and light.
Though the proposal didn’t make the final cut, it remains one of my favourite explorations of how visual design can translate complex technology into emotion and meaning.
